ABOUT US

EZ Cash is an independently owned and operated pawnshop. We are located in northwest Florida, midway between Pensacola and Tallahassee, in Panama City, Florida, home of "The Worlds Most Beautiful Beaches".

Our staff offers a combined experience of over 50 years in the pawn industry. We are current members of both the the National Pawnbrokers Association and the Florida Pawnbrokers Association and have served as members on the Board of Directors and as District Officers for the Florida Pawnbrokers Association.

We are licensed and regulated by the State of Florida and the City of Panama City and as required by law we are bonded for your safety. We have been involved with the development of our State Laws for pawnbrokers that provide consumer protection and pawnbroker procedures.

We provide short-term collateral loans that most financial institutions and banks find too small, or too expensive to provide. We also purchase personal property from those that wish to recycle their used items rather than discard them. Our specialty and strength is our jewelry department, we clean and recondition most of the unredeemed items and resell them to the public at substantial saving over retail store prices!

The Pawnbrokers Code of Ethics

We, the members of the National Pawnbrokers Association, having committed ourselves to contributing to the professional and personal development of member pawnbrokers, advocating pawnbroker rights and responsibilities, and enhancing and promoting a positive and professional image to the public, do hereby adopt and embrace the following Code of Ethics.

Each member shall:

Strive to operate their business in such a manner as to enhance and promote the positive and professional image of all pawnbrokers

1. Maintain our places of business and their operators in a manner which will reflect credit and professionalism on the pawn industry.
   
2. Deal with our customers and the general public with honesty, making service with integrity our constant goal.
3. Engage in fair and vigorous competition to stimulate the continuous growth and evolution of the pawn industry.
4. Obey the laws that are enacted by the local, state, and federal government and assist in the prosecution of those that do not.
5. Strive to establish positive and long-lasting relations with our local, state, and federal government officials.
6. With respect to our common commitment to the National Pawnbrokers Association, conduct themselves toward other members with the highest degree of fairness and professionalism.
7. Assist the National Pawnbrokers Association in promoting the good image of the profession.
8. Attempt to promote the Association to potential new members and will assist the Association by identifying the potentials to increase its membership.
9. Assist the Association in its day to day operations, participate in its annual elections and cooperate and assist in special projects and investigations.
10. Endeavor to maintain our financial commitment to the Association.
11. Each officer and representative of the Association shall conduct themselves in an ethical and appropriate manner conducive to the benefit and welfare of this Association.
